Our Commitment

Bear Creek Roller Rink wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we keep working on it as the site changes.

What We've Done

• Text and buttons meet WCAG color contrast standards.
• Photos have text descriptions for screen readers.
• Every page works with a keyboard, including menus and pop-ups, and has a "Skip to content" link.
• Pages use clear headings and labeled form fields.
• The moving banner and the homepage video have pause buttons. If your device is set to reduce motion, they stay still automatically.
• Pages adjust to phones, tablets, and zoomed-in screens.

Known Limitations

• Party booking and waivers are handled on our booking company's website, which we don't control.
• The printable party invitation is a PDF designed for printing and may not work well with screen readers.
